General Note:
THE AVERO COMPLEX -- of original Spanish homes on St. George Street. This group of original structures were owned mostly by daughters of one family. Restored by the St. Augustine Historical Restoration and Preservation Commission, they were the beginning of a program to return the ancient Calle Real to its original 18th century appearance. This group includes the Avero House, the Arrivas House and the Avero-Sanchez House.
