1960's Brochure blue and green "Lincoln Road Mall" a Miami Beach Public Library Reference Department. Lincoln Road was closed to automobile traffic in the late 1950s. Architect Morris Lapidus designed the Lincoln Road Mall, a pedestrian shopping mall that has become a symbol of Miami Beach's architecture and social life. ( , )
