Notes
Scope and Content:
The Miracle Theater, located at 280 Miracle Mile, was built between 1947-1948 and was designed by architect William H. Lee of Philadelphia. In 1995, the city of Coral Gables bought the theater to prevent its demolition. The city's current tenant, Actors' Playhouse, hired John Fullerton architect, to convert the facility from a movie house to a performing arts center. During the rehabilitation of the theater, much of the original Art Deco ornamentation was restored.
