Scope and Content:
The Granada Golf Course is part of the Country Club of Coral Gables Historic District and is bounded by North and South Greenway Drives. Originally, a vegetable field owned by the Merrick family, the golf course was part of a 1921 town plan created by George Merrick and Frank Button, a landscape architect. The golf course was designed by Langford and Moreau and was open on January 15, 1923. The Granada Golf Course is bisected by Granada Boulevard, with the eastern section located adjacent to the Country Club of Coral Gables at 997 Greenway Drive.
