520 3    |a The present report contains the community based climate change adaptation and disaster risk reduction plan developed for the Zemo Tchaladidi community of Senaki municipality (Lower Rioni pilot watershed area). The geography of the program covers the following watersheds of Georgia: the Rioni River basin in West Georgia, and the Iori River and Alazani River basins in East Georgia. The following pilot watershed areas were selected for the implementation of the pilot program: • Upper Rioni pilot watershed area – Municipalities of Oni and Ambrolauri • Lower Rioni pilot watershed area – Municipalities of Khobi and Senaki • Upper Alazani pilot watershed area – Municipalities of Akhmeta and Telavi • Lower Alazani Iori pilot watershed area – Municipality of Dedoplistskaro The program considers the development of a community based climate change adaptation and disaster risk reduction plan for one community in each targeted municipality.
