Abstract:
The present report is a detailed assessment of the water supply system for the city of Telavi. It includes a description of the system, identification of existing hazards to drinking water quality, their sources and related hazardous events/situations together with water safety risk assessments. In addition, the report includes a list of recommended control measures to avoid and/or mitigate risks, together with management and monitoring measures, a description of the methodology used to gather data of the existing water supply system, an identification of hazards, an assessment of their risks and a determination of control measures. The report will serve as a basis for developing the WSP for the water supply system of the city of Telavi in accordance with WHO guidelines.1
