Notes

Scope and Content:
The Country Club Prado entrance is located next to the intersection of Southwest Eight Street and Red Road. Designed by Denman Fink in 1924, this entrance is considered to be the most architecturally elaborate of all the city entrances. The beautifully designed structure sits in a garden-like environment on the 200-foot-wide median of Prado. It is built of brick with a stucco finish to give it an old-world charm. It includes a reflecting pool with pedestal fountains at each end of the two walkways that run parallel to one another. This beautiful setting is sought out for weddings, family, and artistic photographs.
