Notes
General Note:
Ponce de Leon Plaza is named for the Spanish explorer, Juan Ponce de Leon, who led the first expedition to Florida in 1513. The plaza was designed in 1925 by the City's Landscape Architect, Frank Button, and Denman Fink, the City's Artistic Director. It includes oolitic limestone structures situated on the four corners of the intersection at Granada Boulevard and Coral Way. The features, repeated at each corner, include wall fountains with shallow basins, pergolas with piers supporting wooden beams, and walls with arched gateways.
